Cameron McWatt

Portfolio Manager – Financial Institution Group & Incoming Chief Executive Officer

Cameron is in his third year of the Queen’s Commerce program, and is a Portfolio Manager in Financial Institution Group (FIG).


Following his first year, Cameron completed a 10-week internship at PwC in the Cayman Islands, where he worked in the assurance department specializing in funds and financial services. This past summer, Cameron worked at the PwC Toronto in the financial services industry. Cameron is excited to be joining JP Morgan’s Investment Banking division in NYC this upcoming summer.


At Queen’s, Cameron serves as the Finance Officer for the Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (I.C.B.C.), Canada’s oldest and most prestigious undergraduate business case competition. Previously, Cameron also served as an Events Coordinator for the Queen’s Accounting Association.


Cameron is an avid triathlete, and competes for the Queen’s Varsity Triathlon Team as well as acting as the team’s running coach. He also races with a competitive triathlon team in his home country, the Cayman Islands. Whenever he is home, Cameron enjoys scuba diving, free diving and playing golf.


Cameron is looking forward to completing a semester abroad at ESADE Business School in Barcelona during winter semester 2018, where he hopes to put his Spanish proficiency to good use.
